Approximately 620 km north-west of Cairns, offshore from Cape York Peninsula
The world’s largest known rookery for the vulnerable green turtle and the most significant seabird rookery in the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area, Raine Island is jointly managed with Traditional Owners and is not accessible to the public.
