Welcome

Welcome to Undara Volcanic National Park, traditional country of the Ewamian Aboriginal people.

Location

The park is 300 km south-west of Cairns or 420 km north-west of Townsville.

What's special

This park contains the remains of one of the earth’s longest flows of lava originating from a single volcano. Caves within this lava tube are fertile pockets in which rainforest plant and animal species thrive.
