  <description>The Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) will conduct planned burns in the D'Aguilar National Park - Mt mee Section along Range Road between Tuesday 21st May and Friday 31st May 2013, weather permitting, as part of the annual hazard reduction/conservation management program for parks and forests. As a result, smoke may be seen in the Dayboro area. This planned burn will help reduce the intensity of any subsequent wildfires and provide favourable conditions for natural forest regeneration. Always follow Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) dingo safety advice, remain vigilant with dingo safety and avoid interaction with dingoes at all times.   <title>"Curtis Island National Park and Conservation Park closed from the 13th May 2013 to 17th May 2013 due to feral animal control program"</title>
  <description>QPWS are planning to conduct an aerial feral animal control program on Curtis Island National Park and Conservation Park between the dates 13th-17th May 2013 inclusive. To ensure the safety of the public no access to the National Park and Conservation Park, including Turtle street, Joey Lee's and Yellowpatch campgrounds will be permitted during this time.The National Park boundary gate will be locked on the 12th May and will remained locked until the 18th May 2013. In addition a maritime exclusion zone will be placed around parts of the Island including Turtle Street beach, Joey Lee's beach, Yellowpatch and Cape Capricorn. All vessel's passing these area's are advised to stay a minimum of 500 metres from the closet point of the Island. Affected parks: Curtis Island National Park and Conservation Park.</description>
